1.Can a PSP 3000 with firmware 5.02 be hacked?
2.Can i play isos?
3.If i hack my psp is there anyway to use playstation network?
4.Can i play MGS?
5.Can i restore it back if i need to get it repaired?
6.Do i have to cut wires etc in the battery?
7.Will original games still work?

5. Nope you have to send it to Sony.
6. No you can't use a pandora anyways.
7. As long as they work with 5.03 GEN-C

Note: If you update pass 5.03 no temp CFW for you.

Yeah it does since ChickHen was designed as an exploit to 5.03

IM ON 5.02 SO AFTER I USE this checken thing itll update to a hacked version of 5.03

No you update to 5.03 OFW and run the ChickHen exploit which allows homebrew. Then you run the 5.03 GEN-C enabler thing whatever. Follow the instructions it gives as well. It is temporary and you will need to do it after every hard shut down unless you have the senda plugin. (I dunno does senda work?)

so how does he update to 5.03?doesn't PSN update you to 6.20?or does the eboot.pbp of 5.03 runs on a non HEN PSP?

Bricking an OFW update only would happen if you shut off the psp in the middle. If you mean with the CFW enabler I wouldn't know since I have a 1000.

Of what? Bricking your psp by the OFW update? Well that would be near impossible since it won't let you unless you need at least a 70% charge. Since you are using the official battery no worries of it just shutting off since it doesn't hold a charge well. Shutting it off during an update would be your fault so eh. I haven't seen any reports of people bricking either with a cfw enabler.

Yes. Then download 5.03 gen-c from where ever you want. One site is dl.qj.net Then follow the directions it gives you.

isos go in ms0:/ISO

homebrew and ps1 games go in ms0:/PSP/GAME/xxx

xxx = it's own folder for each homebrew or ps1 game

thanks are there any games that dont work on 5.03 gen c also if i never give my psp a hard power off will i still have to run chickhen every time?
