I'm unsure. The easiest way to check is literally just to take them to the forge and try to forge ingame. My best guess is that are unforgable.

A few more notes:

-While you can change a child unit's portrait hair color, the Private Quarters model's hair color will remain the same, based on who their mother is. If a child unit is given a mother that isn't possible in the game, then their default Private Quarters model hair color will be gray.
-Accessories such as the Hoshidan Crown (Sumeragi), Nohrian Crown (Garon), and the bath robes will not work properly in the NTSC game, since they're considered DLC content.

Not sure if I should start a new thread asking this or if asking here is okay, but I'm trying to edit my save so that I'm out of a map and back into My Castle. Currently have a Save that displays "Failed to Find File" whenever I try to load it (Playing a Class Swap Mod on Conquest and stuck when trying to load a save on Paralogue 20: Ultimate Power). If there is anyone that knows how to edit a save to default back to my castle, it would be a great help.

Side Note: I've also noticed that when I load up another save, there is a blank map that once selected, gives the same error message. Not sure if it's related, but figured I would include the information regardless.

I believe so. Class changing is easy enough, though I'm not sure about changing the boon.

Apologies for this sudden post.I am a beginner who just hands on this hacking rom thing, so i would just like to ask a few quick questions as to whether or not am i doing it correctly with regards to file editing. I am using the US localization copy of the game.

1) I am, as of the time of typing this, at the latest nintendo firmware with luma3ds installed. I tried using FEFTwiddle to test on saves files in both my official game cartridge and SD cards. FEFTwiddle reads the inject nicely but upon exporting it back to the game (Via JKSM with the restore option) but when i run the game with the particular safe file, it just creates a crash dump stating that there was an error reading it.That is one scenario

2) The second scenario is that when i repeat the steps above (Export safe file -> FEFTwiddle -> import safe file), it prompts me an error saying that "There was an error opening the file for writing" -> 0x00000001 and then my safe file enters the crash dump

3) the third scenario is whereby there is no prompt in error in JKSM after importing the new safe file (after editing with FEFTwiddle), the data values doesn't change.

Any advice on the above 3 scenarios would be greatly appreciated! Thank you and once again for the late posting for a ...out of date game :<

No, stats are hard capped per class and character. Setting it to 99 will just set it to max.
