Gaming Fear 2 crashes back to start menu {SPOILER}

after the nuke blows up (one of the beginning levels), instead of loading to the next level, it puts me back to the start menu o.o
and yes i have a pirated copy, perhaps its corrupt or something? i read the comments, and most of em seemed good..

run in compatibility mode? what os are you using?

I'm guessing Vista, update all drivers, and try to see the patches for the games, i mean it is crashing when the game is loading the next level, so maybe there are some missing files so try updating to the first patch, but it may a problem in your case to do so *cough...pirated...*cough
