should't this be in the magazine/news section? anyways i like most of the dragon quest games but i think it will be hard to beat dq xi was one of the best rpg games i have played and whole lot better than GD: Dark dawn

The point of this REMAKE of a 15 yearold game isn't to COMPETE with a modern title. It's purpose is to let the west experience the one main Dragon Quest title we never got.

Also, being a new game (DQ9) doesn't make it automatically good, like all you kids seem to think these days. Example, FF13; I don't care how pretty and modern it is, it doesn't make it good.

I am currently playing said fan translation, and while I applaud The Grinch for providing a full English translation, it's really very, very rough. It's not horrible to the point that it's unplayable, but it's noticeable. I'm guessing the official localization will be better, if Nintendo's competence is any indication.

Once again, however, I would like to reiterate my thanks to The Grinch.
