Hacking FBANext... how do you use it?

Simple... I'm interested in using FBANext as it claims to support Neo Geo roms, among ot her things. But every time I install it, and do as the instructions say by having my roms in an \FBANext-ROMS\ directory on my flash drive, the app insists that I don't have any roms anywhere.

Please help me figure this out. I don't know what I'm doing wrong here.
