I didn't pre-order early and I'm waiting for cases to come out, most are available mid march
The one I want is Nintendo switch start kit - zelda edition (preferably the breath of the wild logo one)

It has screen protector
Unique zelda covers for joycons
Nice case size
up to 16 storage for games
extra space for switch accessories

It is about £30, it is the best case on the market, 2nd best for size, best overall

The best for size would be the all storage purpose ones (Everywhere Messenger, Nintendo Switch Deluze Traveller Case) which lets you fit in the Dock, The Switch, the joycons, it looks like a luggage case, ill have picks below

People can pick their favourite;

Official Nintendo Switch Case -
- Portable + comes with screen protector
- Has small pouch for few accessories, not much space for games, maybe a few
- Overall kinda average, won't be ideal for those going physical wanting to carrying several games
-

Official Nintendo Switch Deluxe Travel Case -
- Has the most space out of all cases but is very big
- Can fit 8+ games easily with the small cases provided, unsure of price but prob not on low end
- Best for carrying controller accesories (Eg. Switch Pro Controller, Extra Joycons, Horipad controller etc.)

Official Nintendo Switch - Game Travel Zelda
- Has space for up to atleast 8+ games
- space for accessories but I dont think it comes with a screen protector, up date me if im wrong

Official Nintendo Switch - Starter Kit (My Fav + Recommend for new Switch owners)
- Has space for 12+ games, and space for accessories
- Has screen protector, special grips + earbuds but is most expensive at £30
- best overall for carrying just the Switch handheld, only one that protects analog sticks

Orzly Carry Case (Best under £15 - even comes with screen protector)
- Comes with screen protector + accessory space but least amount of space for game carts
300x300

Nintendo Switch - Everywhere Messenger Bag
- Lots of space for peripherals, accessories, Games, Switch Tablet and Dock like Deluxe Travel Case
- Better Design than Deluxe Travel Case as it has a small case for the Handheld too
- Probably doesn't come with unique covers
- I recommend using small game cases to store inside messenger bag but it does have space for everything including entire game cases, Any type of small bag/case for games will fit in this easily

I was going to get the Starter Kit as it has all the standard stuff and if I need extra space or feel like the pro controller needs a good place so it doesn't get damaged I'd get the everywhere messenger bag for my starter kit + pro controller but now I dunno

Everywhere messenger and Starter kit are both amazing, i'll think it over, does messenger bag have a screen protector?

I have th oficial one, but I'm after one only with the size of the screen, and a poket for the Joy-Cons. I mean, only the screen has the same size as 3DS XL(a lit bigger), so that way I could get it un my own pokets.

I was wondering the same things, I don't have a case yet and looking for one.

I narrowed it down to 2 models as I'm looking for a hard case that mimics the Special Edition Sheikah Slate case.

The Official Nintendo Switch - Game Travel Case

Is actually the "RDS Industries, Inc Nintendo Switch Game Traveler Deluxe Travel Case- Zelda Breath of the Wild – Link - Blue”

I saw a video of it on YouTube and my issue was with the pouch covering the screen it didn't seem to stick properly.

The other one is: Official Nintendo Switch - Starter Kit which is actually "Nintendo Switch Starter Kit – Link’s Tunic Edition”

Also saw a video of that one on you tube and my issue is that the switch is loose and slides left to right, it's not a snug fit.

So all in all I'm still waiting and hopeful that Nintendo will release a different themed or non branded version of the Sheikah Slate case

Buyng this one, because blue, has Link the badass, and matches my N3DS case.

All the RDS ones are perfect for Switch, all games/mSDs, and a couple accessories. SPC USB-C cable and earphones fit in that pocket, probably nothing else would. Sturdy, secure build.

I'm still waiting for my tempered glass screen protector but here's what i got.
A Soft pouch, official Case and a polycarbonate clamshell. Sadly it won't fit into the dock so i may get a type C extender cable

You forgot the Hori case which I bought, It sucks. The switch shakes around, there is no mesh pouch.
4 out of 10.

Still waiting for my PDP Link's Tunic Edition to arrive.

this is the one i got

the switch with it's joycons fits snug in that little pouch making it impossible to move. the case is exquisite quality too.

Features I am looking for.
1. Ability to hold a large powerbank ~20k, cables, AC brick.
2. Full width flap to protect entire Switch from items in accessory compartment, not just the screen.
3. Hard outer shell.
4. Clamshell design with latch, no zippers.
5. Grommet for routing USB-C cable for powerbank charging for while gaming or the reverse for charging powerbank while not in use. Built in port would be ideal for water resistance.

i have the one on the top (the shop i went to sold them , they only had those so i just bought it.)

it is a good case, but it came with a normal screen protector, i applied it ,looks fine but i would prefer a glass sp.
the shop did not have any, so i might have to order one sometime soon.

there are a couple good ones on amazon with good positive feedback, but they are all out of stock atm.

Can't afford a case at the moment so I'm making do. I put the Switch in a pouch I got from Club Nintendo (Pic 1) and then just stick it in my N3DS XL case (Pic 2). Fits fine without the joycons. I just stick those in the grip and put them in another Club Nintendo pouch (Pic 3) lol. The second pouch is padded so the Joy Cons feel safe. The first one is just to protect the screen.

I just got my Deluxe Travel Case.
Holy hell, it feels like you can kill someone with it and everything inside would be protected. My Hori case for the PSVita seems silly in regards to protection compared to this case.

I got the blue Zelda case with game cases and micro sd cases. It has link on one side and lens of truth symbol on the back. It's really durable and holds the switch on tight.

I was gonna get me one of those they are such a nice case but unfortunately it doesn't look like you can hold much in it. I went with the Orzly case, you can hold an extra set of joycon or a pro controller, the ac adapter and maybe a game case. Ac adapter being the most important.

Can you fit the ac adapter in that little pocket of your case? It's hard for me to tell from pictures...

Actually I haven't taken the charger anywhere yet but just from looking I bet I could. When the case is zipped it gives u quite a bit of room up top. It's also a really hard case and doesn't cave in easy if u put pressure on it which may save it from someone sitting on it or something.
