I'm replaying Soul Silver (yay, for me corrupting my save), and having a grand old time. I'm using Jolteon, Umbreon, Typlosion and Beldum. All are legit and ev trained with Pokesav. I'm just limiting myself to four Pokemon, and doing an almost brutal runthrough. I'm at Blackthorne and about to take the Dragon's Den challenge.

Right now, my favourite moment was beating Whitney with a well placed fighting move. She took my *** down when I was playing on the GBC, because she ended up using her Miltank to attract all of my Pokemon. (All of my team happened to be male at the time.) Hoo boy. That was the nastiest gym badge ever. This was a long awaited revenge!

Also, managed to solve the stupid Ice Path puzzle by heart. Wow, my childhood returns, I guess.

So what was your favourite moment in this generation of Pokemon?

(I'm not including B/W moments because most of them were spent in the airport ignoring grumbling!)

This. I barely played B/W, whereas Diamond, I played over 300 hours. The next generation better be good.
I was more of a Platinum person, though Gold will always be the love of my life.

I'll tell ya a secret.

It'll still be the exact same as every other generation

It's legal at best.

You use Pokesav to check EVs and IVs. The average person isn't gonna sit there and try to decipher what the IVs on their Pokemon may be. It isn't legit if you start messing with things though (ie: manipulating stats, moves, etc.).

Also, I wasn't really enthralled by this generation. B/W amazed me some with the new camera work and graphics. Some of the cities are downright gorgeous, especially considering it is a Pokemon game. Really though, I have more fun doing a play through of the original G/S/C.

He said he directly EV'd them with Pokésav.

Anyone who actually EV/IV trains needs to get better games to play. What a waste of time and life. I fully support pokesaving EV/IV's within legit constraints.

I'm with you, Hells Malice. It is a good way to drive yourself up the wall and end up tired of Pokemon. I did this the "real" way with Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, and the result was - I couldn't give a fat fart about Pokemon at the end. This way, all the fun is there, plus I don't go batshit crazy.
