Due to the disappointment of some other people in a different thread about something, I made this.

So, what are your favorite video game scenes? Here's a couple of mine:

Final Fantasy VIII - PSX Opening - One of the most visually amazing scenes ever. It was just, wow.

Final Fantasy VI - Opera House - I actually still have that paper where I wrote the lines down. It's in my memo pad. I'm never throwing it away, as it's my fave game.

Professor Layton and the Unwound Future - Ending - Made me cry. And made all of my friends cry. So sad.. so, so.. sad.

Portal - Credits - Best credits ever. I sang along to it. XD

Kingdom Hearts - Deep Dive - C'mon haters, you gotta admit this is a pretty well made scene.

Soul Blade - Siegfried Bad Ending - The birth of NIGHTMARE!

EDIT: Damn typo. Can a mod please fix that?

No More Heroes. Every scene in every part of that game. Every boss battle was awesome, every character was memorable.

Devil May Cry 3's opening. Possibly the most badass thing I've seen.

Red Dead Redemption's final stand-off (the end of the last main story mission in the game, you know what I mean if you played the game).

MGS2's Fat Man battle. It was just ridiculous but fun and the music is amazing.

MadWorld's Von Twirlenkiller battle. Just my favorite boss battle of the game. Frantically sawing his arms off and eventually grinding him into little pieces was incredibly satisfying.

FF8's opening is definitely awesome.

Now...any Valkyria Chronicles scene involving Selvaria (favorite outside of spoilers)

NOTE: This third video, despite being god damn awesome, has major spoilers.

The ending credits to Skies of Arcadia. I've beaten the game numorous times, but everytime it gets to Vyse and Aika and Fina and the music crescendos and it has that really uplifting message...it tugs at the ol' heartstrings. It's a scene I'll never forget. Put the OST on my iPod for that reason.

Another in my list of credits is the ending credits to MGS3: Snake Eater. Well...pretty much the entire ending. But I like the "Way to Fall" by StarSailor. I really loved the way that one ended.

The part in Silent Hill 2 when you walk down the hall in the apartments and Pyramid Head is standing behind the gate. Damn near shat myself the first time.

For those who played Deadly Premonition: (Those who haven't, do it!)

When you're controlling the Raincoat Killer running around with the big axe and "Amazing Grace" is playing. Strange, but unforgettable.

Finally, one that always gets me is in Silent Hill 3 in the hospital bathroom and after the room fills with blood the mirror freezes it's reflection. Creepy as hell.

My friends and I have been playing through it and I remember that scene. It's really quite scary, I'll agree. Mainly because you're already worrying about those stupid flesh jacket things and finding that damn key that when you notice him off in the distance, you completely shit yourself. And it's not like he's doing anything, he just fucking stands there. Absolutely horrifying.

Luckily the game was also quite campy to alleviate some of the tension. Like some of those stupid puzzles. Who the fuck uses a pack of canned juice to knock stuck garbage out of a garbage shoot? Also the voice acting is pretty laughable and the translation wasn't exactly perfect.

Another scary moment in that game though is more of a personal one. My friends and I were playing it and the game glitched. The sound just stopped coming from the game. No music, no screams, no gunshots, nothing. And there were no enemies. We could still hear our footsteps though. God, it still gives me shivers thinking about it. Creepypasta material right there.

The 3rd Birthday. I love this scene for some reason even though the whole story of T3B is one big joke.

If I put all the scenes from Bayonetta in here, it'll be okay, right?

(FF7 Crisis Core final part)

Nope. Didn't make me cry nor my friends cry even in the slightest. The other games are much more emotional. (to be precise, let's say FF4 *sniff* They turned themselves into stone.., FF6 *sniff* I let Cid fucking die..., FF7 *sniff* I think we all know what this one is..., FF10 *sniff* Such a deep story.... *WOOSH*)

Forgot about a few, to tired to post videos anyways.

FFIV - You spoony bard. Yes, of course, I wouldn't neglect this.
Phoenix Wright - The AMAZING last scene of the first game.. the one where they find the loophole.
Silent Hill (all) - Basically everything that involves a mirror. Mirrors creep me out.
Braid - Ending. Confused the hell out of me, but felt so deep, and then I came back to thinking the quote from the creation of that bomb. "Now we are all sons of bitches".
Tekken 5 and 6 - Intros, love the intros for both of them, good showcasing of characters.
Limbo - Ending. Same as Braid, felt so deep and philosophical.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
