paying for private trackers? haha oh wow. there are plenty of communities who give out invites to private trackers at no cost, all you need to do is ask.

yo ppl, ive been reading all the posts in this thread, im really interested in this game, I only have the USB loader option since i dont have a dvd writer
i know we cant post links here but can some1 tell me if this torrent i found will work? ¨fatal frame 4 with english translation.iso¨
or any other that may work? i have no idea how to use that scrubber thing

Do all the people who are downloading pre-patched .isos realize they're going to have to download the full thing again every time the patch team makes an update to the files?

Meh, with USB Loaders it's not really an issue. If you're using a snail's pace torrent, then yeah that sucks. But if you're smart enough to use direct downloads (like Megaupload) or private torrent sites, then there's really no problem.

How is usenet free again?

it comes free with some internet providers. i get 4 free simultaneous connections with mine. i only have a 3mb connection tho. but for 20/month, i can't complain. and with usenet my downloads average 260kb/sec.

i don't think a couple of bugs would be worth re downloading. they can't possibly make the game unplayable.

thanks for the hard work on translating.
i do however have a small issue;after obtained the flashlight i can`t seem to freely move the wii-remote in all directions, only upwards and downwards, does anyone experience the same issue?
or is it made so that the gameplay is limited to up+down motion when holding the flashlight?

I believe that limited movement of the flashlight is part of the game play.

Tempus and crew really did a superb job on this translation, only if the Big N had people so dedicated, there wouldn't be so much shovel-ware on the wii!

1) What in the hell does Fatal Frame 4 have to do with Nintendo? Tecmo and Grasshopper are not Nintendo... That's like blaming Microsoft for a bad translation of Fallout 3, or Sony for SFIV. It has literally nothing to do with them.

2) What in the hell difference would the translation of one game have to do with 3rd party publishers releasing whatever they want? Nintendo don't control the quality of anything but their own games, nor do Microsoft or Sony.

Ignorance may be bliss, but damn...

Yup, ignorance is bliss indeed.

NINTENDO PUBLISHES THE GAME.

http://www.cubed3.com/news/12057/ --->
Nintendo holds the publishing rights to 'Fatal Frame Wii,' which was developed by Tecmo LTD. and Grasshopper Manufacture and released in Japan on July 31, 2008. Nintendo of America has since then decided not to publish the title in North America - consequently, the title will not be released in this territory. As the owner of the IP, Tecmo feels very unfortunate that the fans of the series in North America will not have a chance to play the game, but respects the final decision made by Nintendo of America.
