Hacking Fat32 and large NSP's

Hi,

I have a switch on CFW and the SD card is formatted to FAT32.

I would like to install NSP's, however ones that I am interested in are mainly over 4GB and from what I understand wont install over USB with my SD card format.

I have upgraded my software to 8.1.0 using Choi but read something about an exFAT update which would allow me to then format my SD card to exFAT.
I researched this and have read on this site that you can only do this method on software under 6.0.0 due to the homebrew not being supported? I could manually downgrade using Choi, however the games I would like all require higher firmware? Which means I cannot use this method due to my games needing higher firmware than is supported

Am i understanding wrong or?

You can install larger nsp's to fat32, just install them over usb (goldleaf/quark).

I have only ever used NS-USloader and goldleaf.

That's what I use currently and it works pretty well so far, just get the latest versions
