Fat PS3 shutting down with 3 blinks while using Multiman

Yo, I bought a used FAT PS3 last year (modded with Cobra, installed Multiman) but every time I used it I couldn't do anything because it automatically shuts down with a blinking red light. I thought it was due to overheat but even with a deep clean and a changed Thermal paste it still gave this issue. Temps were around 50-60°C so it wasn't that hot. The console does work fine if I'm on OFW though, games run without issues. I just get this issue with Multiman. I'm not very familiar with PS3 modding though. Any tips?

In the FAT PS3s it was found later on that the capacitors were at fault like a lot of computers from the era. I suggest you look at this tread .
Seem that it changed I did not read the thread in a while but it could be it too.... lol

replace the nec tokin capacitors with tantalum capacitors. it will fix the problem you are having with the ps3.
