Fast RMX is the sequel(?) to Fast Racing Neo for the wii u.
I myself am very excited to play it. The game looks great in the screenshots and video

I'm excited for this game, except I wish we had more details.

They say there 30 tracks, I'm curious to know if it's 30 brand new tracks or are they remakes of the original 24 plus 6 new tracks?

At this point it's hard to get details, but it's the closest thing to a next gen F-Zero. It'll do.

I wish Nintendo would re-master F-ZeroGX with online play, ohh what a day that would be.

Yeah, it's kinda like Metroid or any other Nintendo IPs. They don't want to make those but they want to keep milking their better known IPs.

Edit:

In a 2015 episode of Smosh Games, Miyamoto was featured as guest star where he confirmed that the F-Zero franchise was not dead by stating that a new installment in the franchise could be possible if the company were to develop a unique controller interface that would be suited for a new game.

The joycons seem pretty unique, right? Maybe we'll get a new installment on the switch.

Well that sucks. I wished we had way more F-Zero games :/

Well I don't really know what is stopping them from licensing the IP to SEGA. Afterall, SEGA co-published F-Zero GX and AX.

Just remaster F-ZeroGX already with online play/leaderboards.

Even in its current form the game is still beautiful and holds its own against today's games, it doesn't need that much.

The one thing I would tweak in Fast RMX/Racing is the vehicles.

They look too similar and look/feel too much like tanks.

One of the nice things of F-Zero is how the cars felt unique, small and were "light" to control.

I know this is not F-Zero but it's the next best thing and comparisons are inevitable.
