n+ seems too much of a trouble to get into...based on everything I've seen and read,I'd rather keep my sanity...
This is the most ridiculous statement I've ever read about N+. It's probably the best fast-paced pick-up-and-play game I have on my microSD. Whoever told you it would be too much trouble had no idea what they were talking about.

really?! everyone says it's so damn hard that it borders on impossible...
guess I'll give that one a chance as well then.

It's nowhere near impossible. I beat all the regular levels and the N-lightenment levels in about four days. I never tried co-op, but I hear that's a big plus. The only thing is the company who makes it went under and Atari no longer supports WiFi, so map sharing is out.

lol, a flashcart must have.
Beat me too it. That game will kick your ass 5 ways to sideways in less than 10 seconds.
Im pretty sure ive lost a level in less than 1 or 2 seconds before.
If thats not fast enough, try Imagine: Babies.

I recommend MegaMan ZX and ZX Advent. Fast-paced and (as long as you don't have the difficulty on Hard) not terribly punishing. Those two games do have a bit of backtracking, though, but even that is reasonably fun, seeing as it's Megaman.

Agreed, I wonder where he read that. N+ is amazing.

Played that game for the first time yesterday and I fully agree. Can't even beat the final tutorial level but definately a great game

Yeah, I found that even with cheats on I still died because sometimes I manage to get more damage done to me in a split second than the robot's apparent max health is...
So I made a request on the cheats forum for somebody to fix that code and they did, but I found out I could still die if I'm hit with a buttload of damage the exact second I get a max health pack (which resets your current health to normal max the instant you get it).

And yes, it's normal for the game to run slow when you have a buttload of stuff onscreen.

glory days 2 looks like choplifter in the arcades lol
which is good

I seriously cannot understand the fuss about bangai-o... sure I guess it's more fast paced than anything else on the ds but if the whole action takes place inside a screen and you can die in half a second after you hit start then that's just stupid...

bangai-o would have been a far better game if it was a side scroller and not just a one screen 2-second-fest.

Most levels on Bangai-o are puzzles it can take you quite a while to solve some of them so it's not that fast.

And yes, there are some speed runs (MrMonkeyMan is really awesome) and with an amazing skill most levels are less than a minute but this is not a bad thing.

Anyone who says they die on Bangai-o within 2 seconds sucks really bad. Learn to use R and L.

Also, You asked for fast games now you're saying Bangai-o it's too fast

no,I'm not saying it's too fast
I'm saying I don't like it because its room after room and not a standard laft to right sidescroller.

Yes alot of the levels involve exploring a pretty big "room" as you put it but there are a good ammount of levels that involve starting on the left and working your way to the right past increasingly hard enemies. Theres also tons of levels that are set out like a maze that take some trial and error and tactics to get to the end.

dont give up because it looks hard. this game really isnt as hard as it looks the only enemies that can be a pain in the ass to kill are the baseball bat weilding enemies which send your barage of bullets back at you Lol

Again, try to pass the tutorial stages, please.
This.

The tutorial stages are stupid. Just a lot of text that makes it sound like it isn't gonna be that hard, then it thrusts you into a missile-filled room to your split-second death.

They're good to learn the buttons and stuff, but I really only grasped Bangai-O by myself.
