on the cyclods, assuming all your files are up to date, do Jump Ultimate Stars and Megaman Star Force 2 work fine when doing wifi random battles? is it more or less laggy than the original cart?

They work fine, lag depends on connection not the cart. Since you're in the US and most players are in Japan, you'll experience some lag.
