OK, so I'm currently interested in buying a famiclone for my collection, something like those Creation consoles from the 90s. I've come across some of them on my last vacation, but it appears that they're only selling the consoles but not the power adapters that come with them. I found this that explains what power adapters I can use with these systems, but I also found according to this page that I could use a Triad power supply with a polarity adapter. In this case, will this polarity adapter work with the famiclones, or will the power supply work fine without it?

Check the barrel plug for ground, whether it would be center negative or not. Best to use a multi-meter as that is more ideal to give you an idea, as you do not want to feed power in the wrong place. These NES famiclones require usually +9V respectively or should say on the bottom.
