I have two 128 gig micro SD cards for Switch use. looking to buy a 256 gig card so I don’t have to swap cards.

However a lot of amazon users complain of counterfeit micro sd cards. What stores are best to purchase from in order to have the best chance possible of genuine merchandise?

also for 256 gig cards, and higher, any difference between Sandisk and Samsung for long term reliability? Thanks.

Sandisk has issues with Android/Linux compability on Switch, so better avoid it.

The best way is to go to local electronic store and buy there.

Buy from "shipped and sold by Amazon" then u will not get fakes

you can generally tell by price, just check the sd card after you receive it. if it's fake, return it. amazon will refund you immediately after shipping instead of them waiting to receive it, so it's a good situation.

I just got a 256GB PNY SD card at amazon for like $40 and it works great. It gives you 240 GB aprox and I transfer at 60 mb/s. Anyone knows about this brand? honestly it's new to me
