Hacking fake f4 firmware

I bought an r4 card from my friend, i went to update the firmware, and it was just stuck on loading, didn't take me long to figure out it was a fake card, but were do i get the suitable firmware for it, i think he got it off of dealextreme.com

You'd have to tell us exactly what type of R4 it was (Hyper, Ultra Dogsbollocks etc) and the website given on the packaging.

R4 clones and fakes aren't big news anymore.
Which clone/fake is it? Since there are tons of them out there?
Did you try running YSmenu on it?

Are you sure you can't see the website anywhere?
If not, google R4 SDHC and try to find the website.

There are a lot of cards with that name

Yeah, fake.
A bunch of R4 carts go by that sort of name with "SDHC" or whatever.

If you want something hassle free just go buy a regular R4DS and install Wood R4 on it. It'll work pretty much flawlessly.

Wood R4 won't work on any other R4 fake or clone I'm afraid.
