You can't boot if it is installed. You have to manually reflash the eMMC (via hardmod).

Yes, it is very useless. But people like to do stupid stuff.
Also, choidujourn enables it by default. So once it is working, they will need to make sure that it is disabled, which I bet will be the biggest problem for users of ipatched units.
