Got a mod chip insalled in my switch lite and besides the "eMMC initialized in a slow mode! and "SD card in 1 bit mode" everything was working fine for about 3 days.

Now most of the times if I turn it on I get "Failed to init SD Card" error either through picofly or hekate (couldn't get a picture of the hekate one but it basically says the same). Also there are read/write errors in SDMMC1 errors.

If I do boot into atmosphere successfully everything works fine until I try opening settings then atmosphere throws the error seen on the last picture : "2144-0001 (0x290)"

Im certain the sd card isn't fake, would reformating even help or is it a hardware issue?

change sdcard slot or inspect sdcard fpc socket.

sometimes it's even the sdcard itself causing compatibility issues.

oops, it's a lite,
try a different sdcard, use sandisk ultra or extreme as those i know works.
also try updating the modchip's firmware./sdloader

more obscure samsung and lexar ones are known to have issues randomly with ram and emmc combination causing inconsistent read.

Since its a lite the sd card reading is solder on board instead of OG's fpc daughter board connected, You might need to check if any gold pin/finger inside the slot twisted or worn out. Ultimately replace it by PRO
