Hi All,

I'm looking for a little advice.

I have acquired two Switches both with the "failed to init emmc" error and nothing shows up when I try to mount the drives via memloader and hackdiskmount.
I do not know the history of the two consoles; I am merely trying to repair them.

When I swap the emmc from a working Switch then the Switches can see the contents of the emmc i.e. I am fairly certain the problem is with the emmc modules.

In the worst case scenario, I will not be able to recover the keys from the emmc.
Can I load the recovery from a working Switch onto an empty emmc and then stick the emmc into one of these non-working Switches and run cfw?

Thanks in advance for your input

Hi. I am looking for the answer to exactly this question.
i have a switch which fails to init eMMC. therefore cannot dump old firmware nor boot 0/1 let alone biskey
i have also other switches that i can access eMMC on but swapping them over doesnt work due to boot limitations
any help would be appreciated as all solutions i have found require you to have access to your prior nand, bu this is the part that has failed (dont think the broken machine was ever hacked anyway)

I've removed the memory chip from the pcb and I'm going to try to read it by other means.
I'm still waiting for the reader and bga stencil to arrive from China. I'll keep you posted.
