Wir beriefen uns auf eine deutsche Website, die sogar das angebliche Logo des Spiels zeigte, aber keine Quelle nannte. Nach gründlicher Recherche im Netz können wir euch jetzt bestätigen: Die Meldung war eine Ente, F-Zero Z wird vorerst nicht angekündigt!


Translation :

This morning we were reporting a maybetobereleased F-Zero Z for Wii. We took our infos from a german site which did state to have got the leaked logo , but they didn't write their source. After searching on the web, we can confirm : This Report was a fake , they will not be a F-Zero Z , at least not for now.

Nintendo logos & game names have been really pissy lately, if this is even remotely true I'd doubt it would be the "big" game. Remember they said that its something that EVERY gamer wants, a lot of gamers don't like racing games. And it won't be Kid Icarus due to that not being a big enough name though I'd love to be wrong on that.

EDIT: Confirmed fake huh? Darn.

;_; too bad it's fake, F-zero GX is one of the best racing games ever. It would be so hectic with Wiimote motion controls though haha.



@katsuce: GX's insane difficulty may have deterred many people away from it...I bet if they hyped it a lot it would sell really well (announcing it as the "big game" of E3 would probably suffice). It's an excellent game...but then again so is Drill Dozer and it sold about 5 copes (including mine).
