btw.. if I download the 'skin files' is it easy to incorporate it into ezfla_up.bin, for future releases ?

Yes. Just use the compiler. http://www.sosuke.com/ezflash/viewtopic.php?t=935 . Unless EZ team decided to change the look of the loader.

nice job! it's a shame that you can't incorporate a bit of animation to get that "rocking" effect that the dreamcast had.
