Is there any way to get libfat to work on this cartridge? and if not, will there ever be a release of the source code for the firmware?
I really wanna be able to program my own gba windows imitation or whatever and reading the sdcard is something I really want to do.

For the DS using kernels (it was dropped at one point and I don't think we got a bunch with the jump to SDHC either) then there is support for DLDI/libfat, has been probably longer than most DS slot flash carts. There should even be some source available for that one somewhere.

I should also note Desmume can emulate DLDI, and even if you don't have DLDI on a flash cart (or emulator if you are strange and need to use one that is not desmume) you do have FCSR if you keep the attendant data under the 16 or 32 megs you have to play with (the SRAM, the SR part of the name, does allow a measure of writing but consider it read only for most intents and purposes).
