EZ Flash Vi

Hello, does anyone know what this error means: "commercial rom can not open nds file", I have DS Lite and Flash card EZ Flash Vi the latest available kernel, 32gb fat 32 card, shows games but after trying to turn on the rom it pops up commercial rom can not open nds file how can I fix it? is there any program/tool that will fix roms to work
