Hacking EZ-Flash IV (phat) and GBA loading

Im getting the same results with the built in gba loader and with rudolfs (.58b).
I can load gba games into NOR no problem, but if I try to load them into PSRAM they never load correctly. Do these need to be patch roms? Do I need to do anything special? Do I need a memory card in the EZIV? Or is this just normal? The cart is recognized in Rudolf's program as a normal 3in1.

Well seems like an issue with software. Im able to load gba games into psram using Rudolfs 2in1 Expansion software for EZ-Flash IV.

Now Im torn.. use a clunky crappy menu and get the ability to psram, or use the built in loader and only use nor.

Of course I could just get one of the old phat 3in1s.
