Hacking EZ Flash III problem with Advance Wars flickering

I copied an Advance Wars rom to the NAND portion of the EZ Flash III 2Gbit that I have recently purchased after being recommended to do this by forum members.

The tutorial text at the bottom flickers so I can't read it. Is there a fix available? I'm using EZ Manager 2.08

I have also seen a few instances of this flickering in Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland but its very minor and only on the world level screen so it doesn't impact my play.

Thanks in advance for the help.
