Hacking EZ Flash 3in1 for phat hack?

Would it be possible to buy a ezflash 3in1 and take out the insides and put it inside the shell of another gba game.
I want to do this so my friend can have the ezflash 3in1 on his ds phat.

errrrrrrrrrr ....the circuit boards too short!!! you would have to mess about padding it to get it to stay in there when you push it into the phat the board is just going to get pushed back into the gba case

best thing to do if DX has none then shop around until you find one

Get it from RealHotStuff.com. It will take more waiting and work that it's worth to buy a lite sized 3-in-1 from DX and mod it to fit in an original DS. Real Hot Stuff is a well known and trusted site.

That said, a few people have modded the 3-in-1 to fit a phat DS, generally cannibalizing a GBA game pak for its case. It's not one of the easier mods, because the screw hole is in the wrong place and the PCB is the wrong size to fit the game pak shell.

No your not I kind of did the same thing. I didnt want to buy a phat ez flash becasue when I finally get a lite it would stick out. So i decided to just get a lite first just for the lite ez flash.

That's an EZ Flash IV and not an EZ Flash V 3-in-1.

Who cares. The rumble sucks and you can patch a browser. Except you can get more roms in there with sd card.

The browser works only with EZ Flash IV Lite Deluxe and not any other EZ Flash IV version.

Im pretty sure you can patch a homebrew browser to not need it.

you need to patch the browser and use a ezflash if u have an r4
acekard u just need the 3in1 and the browser.nds file

You also have to manually SRAM patch the GBA roms on the EZ-IV. Pretty much all current 3-in-1 loaders support automatic SRAM patching.
