Hacking EZ Flash 3-in-1 help

First, don't flame me for not using the search function. I've been searching and trying everything for the past 2 hours with zilch.

Okay, so I got my EZ Flash 3in1 to go alongside my R4. I have a DS Phat, so I simply broke off the little piece of plastic that was blocking it from reaching the bottom. I put on GBALdr, load the stuff to the NOR, and then load the game. It gets to the Game Boy screen and doesn't go any farther. I then try ExpLoader and it says "Slot 2 Expansion pack not found" and then it shuts down. I've patching everything with the appropriate DLDI for the R4 firmware, I've done everything I can, but to no success.

Any help? Again, I'm using a R4, EZ Flash 3in1, and a DS Phat.

I used to have that problem so i just tapped it on every thing and i threw it on the floor mutiple times =\
