I basically need something that can do what the Supercard DSTwo Plus does in this video (see below), which is to backup save files from a GBA cartridge using the Nintendo DS/DS Lite's GBA slot. Unfortunately, the Supercard DSTwo Plus is no longer being sold on the market and there doesn't appear to be much information on what the best current (and available) alternatives are.

Would appreciate any help on this.

Any DS slot flash cart which got as far as having a DLDI patch (which is probably anything you will be able to find today) will be able to run one of the GBA dumping programs, think we are still suggesting https://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/applications/download-gba-backup-tool-0-21-f3228.html . It is not a thing unique to the supercard. The supercard dstwo is among one of the few things able to usefully run GBA games without a GBA slot flash cart/expansion pack but simple save and ROM dumping is a different matter entirely.

You might as well get something that plays DS games well while you are at it as it is not going to be much more than an absolute bottom of the barrel flash cart. For that something which runs the wood firmware or AKAIO will do.
