Yeah, this may sound somewhat like a simple task. I've not done this in awhile but, how do I extract the Decrypted RomFS and Exe files? I've been doing this in the command prompt and have just gotten the response "could not open input file!":

ctrtool -t romfs --romfsdir=romfs romfs.bin

Am I doing something wrong?

Well, is the file actually called romfs.bin and in the active folder?

If it doesn't work try with 3dstool:

3dstool -xvtf romfs romfs.bin --romfs-dir romfs
3dstool -xvtf exefs exefs.bin --header exefsheader.bin --exefs-dir exefs

The green parts, of course, must be changed to the actual paths and names; the red parts are your choice of output names

How do you use Decrypt9wip to extract the RomFS?

You'll need the Title ID of the game you're trying to dump before doing this. Hold Start while turning the 3DS on, select Decrypt9wip, go to Content Decrypter Options, then SD File Options, and SD CXI Dumper. Now you'll use the control pad's left/right and up/down keys to choose the Title ID of the game you wish to dump from. When you're done the .cix should be under the files9 folder on your SD card. The .cxi will begin with the Title ID of the game dumped from. After all of this you'll need to download PackHack from Github. Follow the rest of the instructions here and you can also download PackHack from that thread. Step 3 and onwards but instead of using Foobas2000 use Every File Explorer from gbatemp.net.

I keep getting an error, that states "the file type is a mismatch".
