Hello, in order to gain some disc space, I decided to "convert" my HANS "undub" patches (romfs files) into layered fs folders. I thought the only thing to do would be to use the RomFS Extractor (Asia81's pack) to open the HANS patch (renamed as a .bin file) and recover the media files in it. But for every patch, I get the same error message: "not a valid romfs binary".

Does anyone know how to avoid this?

One of the resisting patches is for Inazuma 11 Go 2 Thunderflash, another for ShinMegaTen 4.

Double the time then?

I tried ctrtools on my ShinMegaTen IV media file (by renaming the romfs file into "romfs.bin") and got those errors:
Error IVFC segment corrupted
Error RomFS corrupted
Unknown file

@Fej Sadly, I still have no answer to this.
The best way, it seems, is to remake the whole package yourself using a clean japanese copy/CIA. (the problem with that obvious solution being that I can't download such large files from scratch anymore nowadays)

How do you mean, exactly? Patching a binary CIA with a binary romfs patch? (but there's no header in the romfs files.)
