Hacking Extract & dump Wii Savegames

This is what I have found so far-

The information for the friend code is in the rksys.dat folder. I have been trying to edit it/remove it, but haven't been succesful. Does anyone else want to give it a go?

Now in the rksys.dat is the mii and everything in there too?

yes it lists all of the grand prix cups you have beaten, and time trials info as well.

i use a program called 0xED only because i'm on a mac-- any hex editing program would work fine

I'll test the bin. I've got my MCW data backed up via extractor.
Results in a few mins.
EDIT:works..but needs "MOAR HAX"...working on HAX
EDIT2:Testing "HAX1"

EDIT3:Testing "HAX2" Unknown. when I connect to WFC on MKW I get error code 71010.

what are you doing to test this... what "MOAR HAX"

and the reason error code 71010 is coming up is because theres a billion other people logging onto nintedo wifi with that friend code = why im trying to change it

I don't know if this is too much to ask, but could someone do a HUGE favor and post this save in another server (rapidshare for example)? It's because megaupload NEVER works for me and I'm really interested in this save.

Just to clarify: I just copy this file directly to my SD card and copy it to my wii? That's it, and I get 100%?

Yes, but your friendcode will be lost... If you want to keep yours and still enjoy online-mode you have to extract the files and replace some with yours (with the dumper)

Meh, I don't mind with that. I got 100% with the japanese version and I wanted to get that on the american version as well. I'll still be able to play online, right? I'll just have to get another friend code, isn't it?

No, you´ll get an error because to many gamers with the same friendcode are online D:
I´m not sure if it is the same with the data.bin , but with the dumped files by the extractor its true

Are you sure about that? I just checked and I went online flawlessly. I even watched in Spectator mode. I'm pretty sure that it's Nintendo who distributes the friend codes, in order to avoid people getting duplicates. When I inserted this save, it's like I had never been online before and Nintendo is assigning me my FC.

If you go back to page 4 of this thread, someone explains how to use this 100% file but still keep your friend code and friend list. You just replace the NET0 and NET1 files from your save into this one.

As I said, if you don't mind losing your old friends list, you can just copy the SSBB save directly to your wii. Next time you connect to wifi, you'll be assigned a new, unique friend code, and you'll be able to play just as you were able before.
