Hacking Extract .app and .tmd from .cia/.3ds/etc

I want to extract the .tmd and .app files from FBI
I tried 3dsexplorer and autocia with no luck. Is it possible? How?

I believe this is what you're looking for.
Alternatively, you may also install the .cia and look up the files based on their location. This guide explains how to access those files.
I am inclined to believe that accessing those files shouldn't be much different than accessing any other .cia's files.
