I recently formatted the whole hard disk as it had messed up partitions. I was told to use disk part from cmd when formatting did not work. I used that and when i went to disk management, they told me to create an MBR which when I did has created this problem.
The issue is that when I plug the external in, disk management does not finish loading nor do any other programs that scan the hard disk. It appears on my computer but without indicating its size and nothing about it can be changed
I think the MBR is corrupted but I havent many programs without results because all of them freeze on startup or when scanning the disk.
I cant see anything about the hard disk in disk management because its not opening when the hard disk is inserted. The hard disk that appears in My computer does not show anything except that there is an external hard disk with symbol G:
Please suggest something that I can do (other than returning it cuz I cant)

Thanks as always

ok so you see your partitions? if yes, then go to start, on my computer right click and click on manage, then storage then disk manage ment. once it loads, look at your paritions and look: ifi t is blue then it is formted correctly if it isn't then righ click on the partition and select formt, chose ntfs and click format. ifi t is black then chose new simple volume and create it

format your drive to fat32 then use Convert x: /FS:NTFS
where x is the letter of your drive

After some messing around and finally using fixmbr program, was able to see it in disk management and then formatted it to exFAT bcz NTFS doesnt work. Any more suggestions on what else I could do?
tried using convert after fat 32 but doesnt work... i think it accepts anything BUT NTFS
its okay, as long as 4+ gb files can be added on exfat and fat32 for ps2 and wii
thanks man!
