Is possible exfat corruption limited to internal sd card or or can it happen on exterternal drive (hard drive or stick) as well.

I am using sxos and wanted to play around with cheat finding etc

I usually use xci from external

I think it's kinda random whereas nobody has corruption with fat32. For example I have had 0 problems with exfat on USB as well as SD but I know many others have.

I had corruption with fat32. Just on exfat is more likely to happen because of no protection against it.

Exfat on the external hdd is fine, I've never heard of corruption from the external and it's the only way to play xcis over 4 gb. Sd card you should definitely use Fat32.

Split XCI's load just fine for me and everyone else with SXOS (fat32) as far as I'm aware...

i had 0 problems with exfat too, anyway, if you are using the external HDD only for install the backups or mount the XCI, i think its okay. I don't think that have a lot of write instructions in this. Just read...

but im a noob (and with a poor english, so sorry)
