Hacking excitebots no IOS

well, couple weeks ago, i burned excitebots without IOS249ing it and after going into training/practice mode, i didnt seem to experience any problems. are there any problems that will be noticed if i dont IOS249 it?

I have only ios 249 medal of honor 2 because it would only boot like that with backup loader channel....never had to ios 249 any other games ever....dont do it unless you absolutely need to

You can do it on every game, but it will only change anything on the games that need it.

cause im afraid that during gameplay, there might be a crash or other bugs, what have you. like no more heroes, it said to IOS249 because it crashes somewhere, so this is why i ask if it needs to be 249'd or not

well i have it running from hdd un patched and so far have played 70% of the game..........not a problem

and i know it works from disc without the patch, i'm guessing the wiki is incorrect
