I was kidding actually (and sort of refering to this post)
I bought my pink DSl for the unique look. (Was choosing between it and a US lite then I remembered about the crack problems.) Fun. Haven't flashed it though. (I got weird thoughts about it having some sort of new firmware crap thing or whatever and I haven't seen anyone else who've flashed a pink one. I don't have a flashcart for it anyway.)

Anyway, I hope the 'flush' EWIN2 carts get pics soon.

Can't wait since they look awesome so far.

Hopefully, I'm gonna go burn my dreams at will.
Wait, that doesn't sound good.

Hey Midigear, can you browse Ewin forum and find more pictures of the user interface ?
I think it would be a very good idea if someone who actually speak chinese can tell them to support english as well, and thus put up an english forum online

This cart look hell good, far better built than M3 or G6 products (which ae the best two flashcarts on the market IMO 'till I saw the Ewin), and the UI seems to rock as well. Do we know when the new flush-redesign will be out ? If they have english support and GBA capabality, I might buy one of these instead of the new M3 Micro...

Once you un-rar the file, you get all these folders and files. You don't have to install it.

Default language is English. Very easy to use, just drag and drop your files,
or find them from the open file button. Options are save patch and trim, you know what they are…

You can change your skin, not bad.

Alfter all, super easy, super simple, very intuitive,
it is one of the simplest flash tool that I have ever put my hands on. Awesome! 5 stars!

You can try it yourself and get a feel of it.

EWIN2 Micro power consumption test
with other products
Author: Panda
(Tested and reviewed by user. Translated)

Tools:
Nintendo DS Lite
Super Card Mini SD
EZ4
1GB SanDisk Mini SD
1GB SanDisk Micro SD

Testing procedure:
Fully charged DS Lite. Entering “BLEACH DS (JP)”
repeat intro music video Demo Play
level 2 brightness
volum maxed out with headphone plugged in.

(BLEACH DS (JP) is a game that has beautiful art work,
including a music video intro with streaming soundtrack)

Results:

EWIN2
Fully charged to red light: About 9 hours and 42 minutes
Red light until DS auto-power off: 28 minutes.
By not using touch screen and DS speakers,
EWIN2 runs on DS Lite for 10 hours and 10 minutes in total

EZ4
Fully charged to red light:About 8 hours and 12 minutes
Red light until DS auto-power off: 30 minutes
By not using touch screen and DS speakers,
EZ4 runs on DS Lite for 8 hours and 42 minutes in total

Super Card Mini
Fully charged to red light: 8 hours and 10 minutes
Red light until DS auto-power off: 28 minutes
By not using touch screen and DS speakers,
Super Card Mini runs on DS Lite for 8 hours and 38 minutes in total

Final opinion:
EWIN2 has a longer battery life for DS Lite, compared with two other cards.
EWIN2 has 1 hours and 30 minutes more than others.
EZ4 and Super card Mini are basically having the same power consumption.

I think that tester should have used supercard lite and ez4l,afterall he compared between carts using different memories.I dont think that there will be a big difference.
One question, does this mean that the Ewin2 consumes less power than G6 lite?(10 hours is alot)

Feature wise, Super Card Lite is exactly the same with old Super Card Mini,
it just has a smaller outfit and a different medium

(Micro SD. And of course, in order to fit in Micro SD slot,
they in fact bridge up the Micro SD slot to a separate PCB)
After all, it is a smaller version of Super Card Mini.

EZ4L is also a down-sized EZ4, that’s it.
(If you don’t believe what I am saying here,
you can find the structure and chipset layout of EZ4 and judge by yourself )

EZ didn’t change much for EZ4L’s pipeline layout;
they just updated it to a smaller Micro SD slot.

The reason that EWIN2 has a longer battery life is that,
current version of EWIN2 doesn't have GBA feature,
the future EWIN2 Micro GBA compatible version might increase its power consumption, wait and see.

Does anyone know the speed on this?

I went through the thread a few times, but I've forgotten, haha.

Winsunx has this for 29USD, and I'm considering this since I don't play any GBA.

If you are buying an EWIN2, make sure to have the correct Passme solution for your setting.

Due to some Passme device directly boot up from GBA slot instead from DS menu,
therefore, those cards will not work for EWIN2.

If your Passme device enters DS menu first, and you can see an icon of that card
showing on the DS slot boot up section, likely your Passme card supports EWIN2.

The compatibility of current Passme devices

PASSCARD3 Not supported
SUPERKEY Not supported?Same OEM with PASSCARD, same thing?

(Newer version PASSCARD4 supports EWIN2, but since the “version 4” only printed on PCB¸
so there is no way to tell whether you got the new version or not.

But again, if you can enter DS menu and your PASSCARD icon is showing on the DS boot up section,
it is a new PASSCARD ver.4)

MK4MINI Supported
EZPASS3 Supported
PASSME3mini Supported (EWIN brand)
GDPASS Supported

Is there any compatibility chart already? Any slowdowns on these flash cards?
If someone cares, here are some more pics.

I ordered a SC Lite from Winsunx, and ordered Ewin2 Lite at the same time, just because it was so cheap.

I must say that I'm very impressed with it. The build quality is superior to the SC Lite, and all the games I've tried so far works like a charm.
The only downside is that I haven't got a single homebrew to work with it. That it sticks out a little bit from the Nintendo is not really a problem, and overall I prefer it over the SC.

Also, I use Ninjapass Media Launcher as a passcard, which works just fine. Saves and all.

So, if you can do without the homebrew, the Ewin2 is a great buy!

yeah its great for games but i also have tried lots of homebrews without success. Beup almost worked but got stuck on doing handshake. its probs not worth the extra 20 or 30 bucks just for homebrew anyway.

I've heard it doesn't but I havent been able to try yet.

Been meaning to get a 2GB card, but I think it also depends on the brand of the card as sometimes some cards are picky on memory
