Yea just like gateway thought we wouldn't know they put in the brick code.

They might be smart hackers but they have HORRIBLE common sense and business sense. Any card that comes out, whether it be the EVO or something else, that has the exact same features of 2.0 we know will be gateway, especially if they never release 2.0. We are not stupid, a team just doesn't disappear and drop all their work without relaunching as a different name.

With all that has been told by some people, you end up doubting everything.
I wrote to the distributor of Gateway and here is his response :

Wait. Hang on a second. How did you contact the distributor of gateway? Email? How did you get the email?

All these bits are relevant information which is missing.

Ok. That springs up another question. We all know how resellers are clueless about updates. Would the distributor be any clearer? Well, that is of course assuming the email is legit. (which I believe it is milerwan seems to be a solid guy judging from his posts I've come across. It's just that how accurate would the contents of this email be?
 
There's also still the potential for 'release' to be aimed towards a new cart as opposed to software release. If GW has and wants to keep its current supplier list they will have told their customers (resellers) that something is coming soon - To the resellers rather than the end users. So this response can be taken in a few ways.

Still very curious to see how this all plays out.
 
Yeah if you go to http://www.evo3ds.com/index2.jpg Look at the font and really look at the Evo3ds box its very close to the same as the gateways box, it's most likely from the gateway team...... i just hope they release the final 2.0 for the gateway and then release this card.
