Exactly I would rather do whatever I want and have a good life than be an exercise freak who takes care of myself but has a miserable life.

Life is for living.

I don't think that's the same for everyone, for me excercise isn't just to stay healthy but more of a life-long goal to see how much "bigger and stronger" I can get and sometimes motivation to do it is hard on days, but the feeling right after is a great stress release personally (ofc i have my days where I splurge on eating though but as long as that's not consistent).

I would probably agree to this statement a couple of years ago, but then I started powerlifting and it got me into a sort of "runners high". Now I really want my (at least) two hours of exercise a week, otherwise I'm feeling like I have too much excess energy.
My weight could be optimized, but it's certainly not bad.
