Gaming Europa Universalis 2

I readed somewhere there was a planned release of Europa Universalis 2 for the DS. But i readed too there was a cancel of that release. I can't find an article, or news about WHY that cool game was canceled for NDS. I wanna know that, becouse i am a big fan of Europa Universalis

. And By the way can i ask for a name of a game that is smillar to the Europa Universalis 2 ?

The "Developer" Pocket PC Studios announced to release the game back in 2005. It's the same "Developer" who canceled Jagged Alliance DS back in 2006. They wanted to release a Warlord DS too. Personally I think that was all a hoax and an one man project. The screenshots look like someone made them with PC screenshots in Photoshop.
