+1 Resident Evil Revelations - even though I already owned and played this on X360, I consider this to be the superior, definitive, version

I only got around to getting a Wii U last year, and I consider the above to be half a dozen excellent reasons to own the system

+ 1 Watch_Dogs (yes, gameplay is repetitive, but you get to explore an open world and unlock stuff - but you play as a tosser (eg. Batman without his moral safeguards)

+ 1 Twilight Princess HD (this is good!)
+ 1 Breath of the Wild
+ 1 Steamworld Dig (loved it on the 3DS, this is even better here, although portability sucks)
+ 1 Binding of Isaac Rebirth

- 1 to Project Zero Maidens of Black Water/Fatal Frame Maidens of Black Water - scary atmosphere, but really asinine gameplay and easily avoided jumpscares...

+1 Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD (They perfected everything from the original and made it better. Plus it's my favorite Zelda besides OoT).

+1 Mario Kart 8 (Where I blow off steam, it's a casual laid back game).

I don't mind your opinion (I've grown bored with it reasonably fast myself). But for the record: I don't count minus votes. It's hard enough to keep track of the list without inevitable controversies that'll spring up.


Speaking of which: since the wiiu hardly gets any new releases or attention anymore, I won't be checking this list as much anymore. It's nothing personal against someone...it's just that I won't be checking this thread section that much anymore.

+1 super Smash Bros, awesome with friends
+1 runbow (which isn't listed). 1-9 players. Very fun imo, it's a plataform runner, you race with others. There are some cool gamemodes, such as "Lord of colors", that allows this player (using the gamepad) to set traps and try to keep the others from reaching the end of the stage. Play it with someone else (the more the better).

So the Wii U isn't getting a Fire Emblem game I'm assuming. Any particular reason why one was never in development? I know Wii U didn't sell well but a fair amount of the core Nintendo franchises still had Wii U releases.

On the contrary. The list in the first post isn't made by some script but by me manually adding each entry (and adding a note until which post I've added). If people were to edit their list, it would quickly become impossible to keep all changes on the first post.

Okay...I didn't add it because I thought it was obvious, but I'll add it anyway: this is a list of wiiu games. I know that it can currently play a whole bunch of emulated systems, but that doesn't make it eligible. Sorry.
