it's a whut?
I'm sorry that you don't use search engines to clarify things for yourself.
It looks like a knockoff tomadachi
Okay, first off, you misspelled Tamagotchi, and seconded off
hqdefault.jpg
, I don't see the correlation between the two.
with repulsive graphics.
I'd say the graphics are as repulsive as your icon, so not repulsive at all.

As per the website you linked to: "Feed it, play with it, keep it healthy and happy" . That's basically a tetragitchi.

I do not see any evidence that it is some sort of therapeutic thing, just some poorly drawn graphics that indicate that the creature is supposed to be some sort of goopy flesh monster that you feed and care for until you decide to toss it into an oven so you can eat it. That's repulsive.

And searching beings up no Wikipedia page or any other information about it, just links to the home page that contains more buzzwords and gimmicky shit than an explanation of what it is and why I should download the app.

Sorry for the bump but this list is heavily outdated.
uTorrent is now infested with ads, so a better choice would be qBittorrent or Tixati.
Personally, I use Tixati because I prefer the interface, and it's more lightweight than qBittorrent.
Irfanview 64 should also be added, the default image viewer is very lackluster.
WinAmp should also be added, but I've used Musicbee and it's also good.
Apart from that, I think this list is pretty good.

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.
