PS1/2 ESR patching dual-layer dvd problems

The ESR patcher is to be used on an ISO file...but i keep getting .i00, .i01, and .mds files using ImgBurn.

How does one patch such games?

Set file splitting to none in imgburn and it'll give you a single iso file. If it's already set to none and it still splits it , then it's because the drive you're making the image to is fat32 and it has no choice and has to split it up.

Ah yes, I am using an external HDD at FAT32, would changing it from FAT32 to something else give me one ISO? and if so what should I change it to?

are you saying the download its multiple split files eg ..

file.rar
file.00
file.01
file.02
file.03
file.04

firstly you need to unpack them into a single file ISO

Use winrar and start at the .rar file and open it in winrar this will allow you to extract the files it will extract and combine them back into 1 iso file

If the resulting ISO is bigger then a SINGLE LAYER DISK then you need to use the TOXIC DUAL LAYER patcher
