error while closing game

so when i go to try and close the echoes of wisdom from the switch itself, it takes a while before it closes and then gives me the message "the software was closed because of an error"

anyone else getting this message when they go to close their game ?

Could you check your storage?
If you're running out of storage space then the Switch might throw these kinds of errors.

Installing firmware or game updates might sometimes also solve this issue.

From an another particular forum I heard the same issue, it may related to be the rom itself.

ive got about 20 gigs left on the sd currently

The issue can now be found on the GitHub of SaltyNX in issues.
Later I found out there you can just add the game in the SaltySD folder to the exceptions.txt by tiping in the following:

;The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
;1.0.1 crashes when closing
X01008CF01BAAC000

That way you can keep SaltyNX on for anything else. Worked for me.

just me being knit picky about my switch not working how i want it to really, but the issue has been resolved

It'd take the maximum time to close before being considered a crash so that was an annoyance worth fixing tbh
