Hacking ROM Hack error when opening cia

i got a .3ds file and converted it to .cia. i installed and deleted it then i updated it. when i open it i get
error: generic
process id: 15
process name: menu
is there a way to fix this?

It is better not to use such .3ds files. Conversion programs do not work with them correctly. Or manually change the flag to 0x04, but this is for advanced users.
