if i try entering my password it doesnt work and for some reason it opens kde wallet, what do?

Looks like your display manager (login UI daemon) is broken. If you switch to a different TTY, are you able to login? Ctrl+Alt+F*; just replace the asterisk with a number until you get a text based login.

yes, i managed to get a CLI with Ctrl+Alt+F2

If you can successfully login, then it's a problem with the DM. You can try GDM, LightDM, or any other. You can also try using a different theme for SDDM since it seems like that's what's causing the problem.

after installing LightDM not much happened except i actually got a poweroff menu, GDM worked though, any idea how to switch SDDM theme?
