error code 2168-0002 on unmodded switch

hi all im havin an issues with my switch where i keeps crashing in games with error code 2168 0002 what might be causing this?

in on latest ofw 13.2.0
never touched hb with it
also happens on switchbru dns sometimes

That's the error code for a segfault. Basically the software is trying to access a part of ram that it either doesn't have permission to access or doesn't exist. (Google segfault for more info).

The description of the error from Switchbrew:

Userland ARM data abort. Also caused by abnormal process termination via svcExitProcess. Note: directly jumping to nnMain()-retaddr from non-main-thread has the same result.

This is usual to see in homebrew since there's no QA testing but less common in official games that have been certified. Which game are you playing? If it's happening in every game and frequently it may be faulty hardware, in which case you'll have to RMA your Switch.

ive been playing breath of the wild/mk8/minecraft/acnh and they all error out almost everytime i play ive tryed my other games/katimari damacy reroll/goat sim they error to

To me it sounds like a hardware issue. You could try doing a factory reset but I don't see it helping. In Minecaft I know having a DNS can sometimes cause errors but given BOTW is an entirely offline game I don't think it will be the Switchbru dns.

Why do you use the DNS if it's not even modded, just delete your wifi settings
