im a sky3ds user.. can only use .3ds... i have not checked if mine is banned or not yet. I dont really play online games, think ive tried smash bro online for 1 game, but thats all.. and this was about a week ago. I dont know if to try it, or to turn off wifi/online for now, until this is cleared up

guys i got a question, can i inject a 2gb private header on a 4gb game? because when i use the rom patcher and i click yes on the "can i sugest a best value?" and you try to read the game again it says the message over and over again like it didn't fix the size at all...

The patcher should ask to fix it to match. Press ok/yes and then click INJECT. Otherwise you didn't actually do anything with it.

It will do this for every rom you inject into.

You using version 1.0? I think that after you import it, you copy the cart ID into the field that says cart id under the custom header and then apply.

Now I should let you know that I don't completely trust myself there. That's just how I got the popup to vanish. Try using 0.6 because that seems to be simpler and I think it's the one he was talking about where you press 'apply'

This is what one chinese user got from nintendo. It says the console was banned from online service because of using pirated products.
And I opened a topic to collect imformation about ban on tieba. So far, about ten people have reported being banned. And most of them used 3dz to play pokemon.
But there are also guys who only played MH or Mario Kart banned.

For now it is safe, but probably not for long. I can only imagine Nintendo will eventually cross check CIA with your eshop account.


Unless they figure it out, a private and unique header will probably remain safe.

I can only imagine Nintendo will eventually cross check CIA with your eshop account.

For this reason it's unwise to have an account tied to anything you're installing .cia on, since it's such an obvious thing for Nintendo to check.

Can't nintendo just ban people who play eshop/cias and who don't have NNID? I don't think you can legally get an eshop title onto a 3ds unless that 3ds has a NNID

Well I guess when GW finally releases N3DS support my N3DS will be an offline console, as will my old 3DS. I haven't played online much at all, but after all of this I think the best course is to just stay offline until more info is dug up.
