Hey there.

I've tried several versions of RetroArch for PSP now, but none of them work.
The last error I have seen is "The game could not start (80010002)". Some versions just shuts down the PSP completely.
I've searched around for a solution, but the only solutions for that error message are from like 2009-2011 and don't apply now.

I'm running CFW 6.61 PRO-C on a psp-2000.

Any ideas?

i think no one maintains the retroarch builds for PSP any more. thats why it doesnt work. shame really.
Yeah, but... Why can you download the latest version for PSP from libretros website?

its like this for example . someone does the gPSP code. that code gets added to the psp branch automatically, but no one see if it working or broken in the PSP build. were that code might be added to the Vita one, but because someone looks at the code they can fix it if its broken.

its computer generated, were no one maintains by testing it if it works with the latest PSP CFW.

anyway you better off getting the individual emulators and just using those.

Had the same issue of your last attempt. What apparently solved it was renaming the folder to "Retroarch" exactly. It appears to be case sensitive. Just in case we're talking about different things, I refer to the GAME/Retroarch folder. For some reason I had (probably an old attempt) a RETROARCH folder in another place, I just deleted it.

Follow the instructions of the retroarch download page exactly.
