I've got an issue on wich im getting a bit lost.
I had my switch modded and set up with a 256gb sd card. I followed the Sthetix installation guide with the HATS pack. Everything worked fine and original gamecards could be played in OFW and CFW without any issues.

Now I wanted to upgrade my sd card to 512gb. Since i got all the backups on my pc i only made a backup of the save games with jksv and set up the 512gb as a complete new card. Now after everything is done i notice that the physical gamecards won't run. They give an error: 2002-1002.
Tried the following things to get it to work:
  • Reïnstall the game in OFW
  • Delete savegame data in OFW
  • Setting up the SD card as new (format, delete partitions and create a whole new partition again)
  • Setting up the SD card as fat32 instead of exfat (my original 256gb card was set as fat32)
But none of these helped solving this issue. Now a few days ago i did help a friend with his switch. But started directly with the 512gb sd card. I asked him if he tried an original gamecard already but he didn't. Now he tested it and he's got the exact same issue.

Tried reinstalling the game in OFW but it didnt help. Neither deleting the savegame data in OFW did help. Or placing the backup save game in JKSV (i later realised the save games in OFW are stored somewwhere invisible). Tried a new install on the sd card twice now but no success.
When i put my 256gb sd card back in everything works fine like it should be doing.

I'm a bit lost on what the issue could be so i hope someone in here can lend me a hand with solving this.

Did you use the option in system setting to delete the save files for ALL users of the non working game(s)? If not, try that.
Yes, i did.
Luckily i tried it with a game that I don't care about much. But some other games have more progression and I don't want to lose that.

Sorry guys, it was late and i got to bed :)
I just checked if stratosphere.ini is in atmosphere/config but it isn't. So i looked up how to do it in Hekate and disabled auto nogc. But the gamecard still gives the same error when starting in CFW.
Checked the files again: there's a config template folder. In there is a stratosphere file:
Code:
[stratosphere]
; To force-enable nogc, add nogc = 1
; To force-disable nogc, add nogc = 0
I added these lines in the config file as:
Code:
[stratosphere]
nogc = 0
But loading in the CFW gives me an error and reboot to hekate.

Btw, i dont know if it matters. Im using the HATS version 1.8.0 V1.3 and followed this guide.

Edit: thinking of it. Maybe i should've created a new file with just the stratosphere code in it and name it stratosphere.ini.
Ill try that this evening when im back from work.
If there's any other advice please let me know :)
Post automatically merged:

Yes this should work or you can disable nogc from hekate menu.
So i put stratosphere.ini in the config folder with only the above mentioned lines in it. But game still starts with the same error.

Any other ideas or advice?

I found the issue. It was the partition that was set to 12gb instead of the full 29gb. Now its solved. :)
